Pre-release wines

Pre-release wines are wines that have been bottled but not yet released for general sale in our tasting room.  Once they have gained sufficient time in the bottle to get over “Bottle Shock” we make them available for sale to internet customers prior to putting them on sale in the tasting room.

Chardonnay – releaseD

2006 - Our Chardonnay is made from grapes grown on property about 1-1/2 miles from our production facility, a vineyard planted by our son and daughter-in-law.  50% barrel fermented, it has a wonderful balance of fruit and oak. Have this wine with chicken, fish or shellfish.

Cabernet Franc– releaseD

2005 -We've been working with this grape as a component of our Meritage. Aged in European Oak cooperage for two years, it has aromas of black cherry and vanilla. Try it with rack of lamb, roast beef, or cheese.

Meritage– releaseD

2003 - Made from the best barrels of our Cabernet Sauvignon (58%), Cabernet Franc (32%) and Merlot (10%). Aged in French and American Oak cooperage for 35 months, it is a wine of superb elegance and finesse.
